Vladimir Žic has been proffesional triathlon coach for 10 years and has worked with many accomplished coaches and athletes. Developing through ITU camps and ITU seminars Vladimir learned from the best, and lately he finished coachinh clinic with triahtlon legendary coach Brett Sutton.

My sporting career began with handball and shortly after football (soccer) was my main and loved sport. In football I ve learned a lot during my proffesional years and accomplished really nice results. My mental approach and passionate dedication was shaped through team sport and that helped me a lot delivering only the best I can to my athletes.
Triathlon is my way of life and I am big fan of the sport and wonderfull athletes that come to our sport.
Vladimir Zic is a coach from Croatia, born in 1985.
Vladimir played handball in early years and football to his university days. He was playing football as a professional for a few years. At first years in University he was rock climbing and later he was hooked in triathlon. Firstly as an athlete than as a coach, but coaching was where his passion stands.
He competed in triathlon and also helped to build Triathlon Club Swibir, Croatia best triathlon club. He trained numerous triathletes to achieve their goals. With his athletes he won medals at Balkan Championships, numeorus medals on National Championships, he had two athletes in Baku European Games, athletes competing at European Champhionships and ITUWorld Cup and European Cup events. Best result from his athletes is 3rd place in female PRO division (Sonja Škevin) at Challenge Venice in 2017.
After years as Croatian National Team Coach he is now fully commmited head coach of Triathlon Club Swibir and he has yet to achieve greater results with his Elite and Age Group athletes both in short and long course racing.
